Swede Mountain Shepherds
Our dogs are being selected for family friendly temperaments, willingness to please, health, level toplines, intelligence, guard intincts and beautiful coats.
The American line in our dogs contributes to a more docile, lower energy dog, while the working line (mostly DDR) contributes healther conformation, and desire for a job. Some of the American in their lines are bred for an "old fashioned" type body with level toplines.
Our dogs love going for walks, hikes, attending bike rides and swimming. What they desire most is to be with their people during all activities and down time.
Higher drives and energy levels do run in the working line. We are able to pair our DDR, East German male, "Jethro", with our females to produce dogs with more drive to work. The progeny having potential as service dogs and search and rescue.
Our youngest, and largest male, "Otis", is mostly American line (including Royalair). He is low energy, and his focus is on his people. He should produce puppies with potential as therapy and emotional support, as well as service and search and rescue.
All pups are raised with the family, and handled daily by myself, and our 3 children. When old enough to venture outdoors, the puppies are consistantly exposed to new suroundings, cats, chickens, pigs, and a pony.

Jethro is 100% DDR, East German lines. (Stasi and Sonoline)
Beautiful conformation, great temperament, and an amazing family dog. He is my daughter's shadow, and devoted guardian.

Erema's Shade of Black (Shade) Long Coat Bi-Color Female
Shade is a working line (DDR/Czech), with beautiful conformation and a soft coat. She is a sweet and happy dog that is eager to please. This beautiful girl is confident and curious, has great drives, and is ready for adventure.
AKC, DM Clear, Embarked, OFA Good/Normal, and CGC titled.

Black and Tan Female
Trinity is mostly American lines, half being Royalair. She is an over standard size female, weighing 90 lbs lean, with a beautiful level topline, an affectionate personality and a desire to please. Trinity is a great family dog, medium energy, has excellent ball drive and is very loyal.
AKC, Fully Embarked, DM Carrier/Not Affected, OFA and CGC titled.
Otis of Swede Mountain Shepherds Black and Tan Male
Otis is mostly American with a small percentage of show, and working line. This boy has large bones, is tall, broad, and docile. Even with his large size, he is gentle and respectful enough for his little 8 year old human to train and use as her 4H Dog project. He truly is a gentle giant.
AKC, DM Clear, OFEL Normal, Pennhip Good and CGC titled.
Everdeen of Swede Mountain Shepherds Black Female
Everdeen is half working line (DDR/Czech), and American with level topline. Everdeen is a beauty with a deep chest, big shoulders and a proud stance. She is a sweet and loving dog that wants to please. She loves her family, but is aloof of strangers, until she is assured they are welcome. A great family guardian.

Currently taking names of interested parties for our upcoming litters.After puppies are born and we know what is available, we will take $200 deposits to reserve a pup of preferred gender.
Deposits are non-refundable.
At 6 weeks of age, buyers will get to choose their puppy in order of deposits received. Remaining balance due at pickup, when puppies turn 8 weeks of age.

This is Mack, although he responds to "Pup Pup". I believe this pup is medium energy with medium drives. He loves our puppies more than anything and is so gentle with them. He is an easy going pup, and not the needy type. Mack is crate trained, well behaved in the house and elsewhere. I have not done a lot of training with him, but he responds to a gentle hand, has been on car rides, to parks and walking amongst people and dogs, and has done well. I believe this pup needs a human to continue training and to teach him to look up to his owner and enjoy the adventures to come.
Mack has been neutered, and does have a small amount of hair growing on the inside of one of his eyelids, which can be removed when he turns 1 year old.
Male $850
All puppies are checked by a licensed veterinarian, given their first vaccination, kept on a deworming schedule, and are well socialized. They go home with their AKC Registration Appliction, a copy of their Certified Litter Certificate, records of vaccination, and a signed copy of our Sales Contract.
The German shephered dog
The German Shepherd is an active breed. They are intelligent and do best when provided with a job. Their confident yet aloof personalities make them great family guardians, as well as therapy dogs, guide dogs, service dogs and more.German Shepherds are extremely loyal and devoted family members and guardians.
